Old English Game??

I purchased hatchery stock and my B.B Red’s had yellow legs and some of them still do, but they are getting lighter as they develop (They are four weeks). My newborn chicks, which hatched from white-legged parents, also have yellow legs. So do the chicks that are shown in the McMurry page http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/product/bantam_b_b_red_old_english_game.html

Hatcheries
typically say that they supply birds that represent the breed, but aren’t exactly show able. And considering that out of the four Silkie chicks I got from a hatchery one doesn’t have feathered feet, two do not have beards, three do not have top hats, one has a single comb, and another has green skin this statement appears to be very true.

However it is possible that your chick is something else completely. Dark Cornish also look alike. http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/product/bantam_dark_cornish_bantams.html

Hope
you figure out what they are.

most birds will have yellow legs when their born.. And then they slowly develope into white, Green, blue, etc legs.. About the only legs i've ever seen not do it are blacks or chickens with black legs, and even they occasionally will be yellow as chicks and slowly turn black. you can tell what color they will turn out by the "tint"..
