Old Fashioned Broody Hen Hatch A Long and Informational Thread

Mama decided today was the day she would take out baby Noelle (she is 2 weeks old today) for the first time. Its only 22* f outside but mama & Noelle were doing fine & taking breaks to warm up :) I still am amazed every time i watch them.

Very sweet x3....I love watching them this time of year. Totally blows your mind after you've worked so hard to heat lamp brood batches, stressing over keeping just the right temp...momma just lets them run around in their little down jackets, then catching quick warm ups with momma. Very sweet.

I'm reposting this here. It's a (poorly shot) video of me giving scrambled egg to Mama hen and babies. You can tell hen I come in the room and she sees what I have. I love her different noises!
