Congratulations!

I checked in on how Spot was getting on with the group first thing this morning, and you wouldn't know she'd ever been gone. No pecking at the toe and she was fully integrated with momma and the rest of the brood. WHEW. Reintegration achieved!
 
The final count is in, we have 4 babies all sweet and fluffy. She's already had them off the nest a few times yesterday (still enclosed in her large dog kennel) and watching them stumble around trying to follow her was the cutest. They are so little they actually trip over the shavings. I'm really enjoying watching her gently cluck to them and help them back under her. I can't imagine how much I'll melt when she actually moves more than 2 feet.

heatherkh: I'm happy that Spot went home to Momma and all is well. She's my little special chicky as she helped me "tell" my kids about our new babies. Way to go Spot!
