I know where mama is, but I don't know where she is hiding her eggs

. She is the egg hiding master. Maybe I'll find it before she goes broody again...... maybe I won't

Ok ,I have read the first few pages and a few of the last one in this thread. My BO girl started being broody last friday. She was in one of the favorite laying boxes which probably had 4 or 5 eggs in it. I left her alone and on saturday added about 5 more to her box and she tucked them right up under her. Today I moved her around and felt under her and counted around 14 eggs. So when should I start the countdown? Should I count them better tommorrow and then when the amount stays the same start the countdown then? This is my first broody hen. Is it better to move her to her own nest and area now or after the chicks hatch??? And can I feed her and the chicks medicated chick food since she won't be laying eggs for a few weeks after they hatch??? I haven't seen her off the nest yet---I read where some shooed them off for awhile to eat and drink. I would hope she would do that on her own. Do I need to shoo her off??? newbie questions!!!!
