Of course how could I forget, they are olive Eggers from my flock. All hatched dec 22nd or 23rd.

My babies are a little over a month old now-here are some updated pics....I have let them out of their broody area into the rest of the coop this week and they are lovin it. Yesterday a few actually ventured off the porch to the ground.Momma rounded them all bakc up the steps last evening to go back to their broody pen.

these babies are mostly BO's and the daddy is a BO--I do have 4 BR's so there is 3 babies that are mixed

I sexed them all around 2 days old and these last 2 are hens so I get to keep that little black and gold one!!!

My silkie,Blanche,has been sitting eggs since the 5th of December.The first chick was there the 26th,and the second just hatched today.I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. There are 4 more eggs under her , what do you suppose the odds are that they will hatch seeing as how they are late.

well you must have a staggard hatch so i wouldn't give up...
