I'm so wanting one to be a frizzle and a pullet too. Not asking for much am I?
Last time I ended up with 2 out of 3 being roosters. So this time I'm only hatching pullet eggs ;)

Boy! A jersey giant broody! You could probably fit 50 eggs under one of those! Lol. Hope she goes broody for you soon.
Yeah, wouldn't that be great! I have a pair of turkeys I am hoping will raise me some turkey babies for Thanksgiving and all but she is not seting yet, so I hope that my JG gose broody soon and I can put some turkey eggs and chicken eggs under her. That would just be GREAT!

I love JG's hope she'll go broody for you. They are my next chickens after all i have now go to chickie heaven. lol Not sure how JG's and bantams would do together.. Probably get stepped on alot.

I would LOVE to add more to my flock! But I am trying to keep my $$$ to a min as far as buying chickens. So I am hatching eggs from my flock and not buying any, my first set of 5 chicks were free at a day old and about 75% of my 30 hens and roosters were free!!!!! Only a few I have bought and I would buy more JG and some Black Copper Marrans if I could find any around me.

Now weren't you the one yesterday saying you didn't have patience and these babies were overdue? Haha! Congrats on the adorable chicks!

That was me....Miss Impatience.

Saturday was day 21, and based on info on this thread I started looking late Thursday or Friday. This is a first time for both Lily (mama hen) and me. So i had no idea how it would all happen. I have to say it has been AMAZING so far and chicken math is starting to take hold!
