Saturday was day 21, and based on info on this thread I started looking late Thursday or Friday. This is a first time for both Lily (mama hen) and me. So i had no idea how it would all happen. I have to say it has been AMAZING so far and chicken math is starting to take hold!

Once you get caught up in chicken math there's NO turning back

5 days after last one hatched it's probably time to take the others out so she can take care of her new chicks, you might candle tonight and maybe see if anything is going on. It maybe cold to you but those chicks will stay toasty warm under mama, and she'll take them outside when it is cool and will know when to call them to her to warm them up. Trust her she'll know what to do.
. Oh ok, so today is 2 days after last hatch, born Saturday. She has been teaching the little ones to eat and drink, there doing very well. I did candle 2 of the three eggs, she would not let me have the third lol there is movement it looks like in one, the other has a tiny crack in it, I hope it's a pip and not from mommy bird. There both dark inside, but the whole egg is not filled black, is it suposed to be completely black inside besides the air sack? This is my first time with eggs or hatching so a bit confused.

Thank you for the help!!!!

Have turned off the turner now.

Seem to have the Battle of the Broodies going on outside:

Hermione deffinately doesn't want eggs unless Helen is sitting on them. Poor little Helen is being beaten up!

At this point, I'm hoping they will both settle down and be happy to share the eggs and babies

It would be mostly black since the chick takes up most of the room inside by hatch time. But if it's delayed in some way then the growth might not be as big. I would leave them until Day 25 then remove them and listen for sounds of peeping. If there is no movement then the chick probably died in the shell. It happens sometimes. Hoping that it hatches for you soon.
