'nutmeg ISN'T the white one'. Too funny. So when the inlaws are driving me batty during this glorious holiday - this will be my mantra, and escape to sanity. Thank you for the chuckle.

BTW. Miss Lydia, you are absolutely the best for posting that web site for me and our little guy. I believe he could have a b12 deficiency, we'll see if we can't turn him around -and we're hoping 'he's a she'. Not just so that we'll get eggs, but because then I get naming rights!

I got Chocolate from McMurray! All of my chickens came from there. Except my little barred hen, she came from some guy's grandkids.Hehehe

I will be ordering bantams from McMurray next year.

My broody girl gets up everyday and eats and runs a bit and then right back on. Chocolate may be taking a little break.

Hopefully thats all it is, they know how long they can be off the nest. Be thankful she gets up, some won't and will even poop on the eggs, so hopefully she's just having her time off for the day.
