Yep I realized that so that's why the spot check. It was a success because I got my own post notification.

I was just thinking why haven't I heard from anyone on the broody thread and there it is, very slow right now I guess. I have one in the nest box tonight but think she is just to sleep. [I didn't have the heart to make her get out.. ]

yeah- i have the sister to lea doing that, the last two nites, hope she isn't going broody too! but if she is i'll have to find some orp eggs- have you looked at the english orp thread??

Those chicks are adorable artsyrobin! I love the little dark ring of feathers around their eyes-it always make the chicks look so dramatic!
can't wait to see them growing up
