I know it's hard to get them to do anything they don't want to. My wanna be broody found more goose eggs and when I saw her I thought oh great I'm going to have to go get her out of the goose stall before bed time, but My 2 geese took care of that for me, they went in a stood over her and screamed she got out fast.Sweet I hate forcing her I tried forcing her earlier she sat tight. She didn't even attempt to take my arm off lol..

Spend some time on the goose thread lots of good info there. and depending on how many geese you want is how big a house they will need, my son and I are starting on my goose house this evening and I am going according to Petes specs. with some minor adjustments. 8'long 4'wide and 6'High with windows and door I can walk into for easy cleaning. Right now my geese sleep in a stall inside one of my house which also house 4 Muscovy's the geese really need their own space. [Plus it gives me an excuse to have another space] since I have 4 new ducklings coming soon.]Oh nooooo....now do you keep you geese & ducks together or do they all have separate pens? I am building an 8x18 coop for the ducks & geese at my in laws house. See I get to have more critters without having to move![]()
im so slick !!!! I know I am sticking to scovys but I still have no clue what kind geese to get or how big of space they need.![]()

Sweet I will read up on it. She finally came out & the chickens went in her nest so she ran back in. I am thinking of putting her in the garage & she can come out to the yard by herself and do her thing. Poor thing![]()
