Old fashioned Broody thread for ducks 2013 edition

Got a snap of my broody

She's only turning 9mths lol Now most of the eggs are that from an older duck that we moved(she rejected) that count was 8, i was taking her additions away but after she sat i have no clue if she snuck another 1 or 2 of her own under there lol

I don't even know when these will hatch... she's been doing a nightly sit for awhile but switched to daytime within the last week i guess, seriously surprised me given her youth. No idea what/if anything will come it, thankfully she is a stall not under the shelf so will be easy to pen off if they do hatch. My luck all will.

oh when my duck got out yesterday I checked inside her nest and found a chicken egg in it, so someone pulled the ole sneak one in while the broody isn't looking routine

How do you get your duck to sit with only 4 eggs? I hate this I feel so clueless..
That's all I gave her, it's called birth control

She actually went broody sitting on my gooses eggs, well that wasn't going to work since it was in my geese bedroom so I took her and set her up in the dog crate and gave her 4 goose eggs, well they weren't any good so took them away and gave her 4 just laid that day duck eggs, she was happy as a duck could be, never even moved.
