mine gets off every day to go out and forage and then she goes back on the nest she has been sitting everyday now and then going out to forage everyday so she can stay nice and healthy so thats good

Sweet mines sitting but heres the weird part tonight when my dd shut the coops she says that the chicken refuses to leave the duck coop after trying to cstch it she gave up and lock it in with the duck sigh never a dull moment lol

Its a 8 week old pullet that thinks the drakes its mother lol he wont crush her he keep her warm

oh well thats cute lol my drakes chase my hens and my rooster fights with my 2 big drakes one is over 10 pounds my rooster is a partridge chantecler

Let her out this morning she ran off took a huge poop

ate walked around. She watched me fill up the pool, she was chirping away. Then she went back in & sat on her nest

Sure sounds like it and I'd say if you remove any eggs you'd be safe taking out the oldest ones and leaving the rest. Hoping you have ducklings in about 35-37 days.

about 5-7 days from today you should see veining. Since I only have 4 in the nest I candle them all, you might want to mark them as you candle so you are getting a new group each time.
