I agree and i tell ya moving to the farm won't stop the racket unless you move 40 miles from nowhere, i live on a 100 acres souround by big parcels of land and some of the fireworks i heard out here sound like bombs going off, even shook my windows, it drove the owls to my tree lines and they were scretching and hooting everywhere, i had to get out my own bottle rocks and try to run them off which got my entire flock in an uproar.

And all my dogs were under cover for the better part of the night.

I am just glad we got some rain cause we been under a burn ban.

I know peps got to celebrate but they really should outlaw them fireworks that sound like bombs cause what if there was a real explosion?

Well the farm will be some better... We have several hundred acres that surround our 150--closest house is over a mile thur the woods.. SO it has got to be better than here.. I will be gone before the 4th....

Ah, yes, Hawaii LOVES it's fireworks, huh? The smoke just hangs there, too, thanks to the moisture. Hopefully you'll get some good winds today to clear it up. I loved living in HI, but, man, the fireworks drove my allergies/sinuses batty, not to mention trying to sleep because you actually had to work the next day.

Oh my goodness, I went out to friends house about 9 pm and my neighborhood looked like a forest fire had come through because of all the smoke! But today was the last day! They passed the law finally to ban the big giant fireworks

Wished they would ban them bomb sounding fireworks they have been going off the last 4 nights, but then person that owns the fireworks stand lives behind me about a half a mile as a crow flies
