Old Hen Possibly Egg Bound

My 5 year old hen is having a hard time laying. She hasn't layed for a few months and seems like she is trying to pass an egg for the last hour. I have her on heat pad set at low.

This morning\early afternoon she was active. Is there more I should do now or wait?

She just layed a soft shell egg about 30 minutes after her bath.
Any experience with older hens laying soft eggs?

No, I am sorry, I don't have experience with old hens, my oldest are not quite a year old.
All I can think of is calcium.... are you offering oyster shell?
