Hello and welcome to BYC! Glad you joined.
I try to help where I can but I know what you are talking about.
You have some really great breeds in your flock. I'd love to see some pictures if you wouldn't mind sharing.

Here are some pictures my old lady sent me. I might be doing something wrong because a lot of then failed while uploading.

They liked something on the ground here while I was cleaning up. I believe there are some Isbars, Chantecler, Holland, Minorca, Brown Leghorns, and some mutts which i tend like more than my purebreds.

One of the Cemani chickens as a cockerel.

This is the result of a Campine/Fayoumi over a Claret game. He is a complete coward, but much like his Fayoumi ancestry he is running full throttle from daybreak to dark.

If anyone was wondering this is what you can get from a Mug/Hatch game over a black Dorking with a rose comb. I really liked this bird, but a fella came by that was willing to pay way too much money for him.

This is a liege game compared to some of my other ladies. You have to see them in person to really appreciate a small turkey sized chicken.
