Does anyone still use old school incubators? I found one on Craigslist that they were asking 25 for and i talked the guy down to 15... I was just wanting it to check out incubation process... So its mostly for experimenting with. Worth it at 15?

I would go for it. If it heats up, it is worth $15. If it doesn't maintain a steady temperature, you can always upgrade the thermostat.
You can also add insulation if that has failed.

ETA Even if it doesn't heat up you can replace the heat element. A heat element and a thermostat are way less in price than a new incubator.

I don't use them but have made a few custom incubators and refurbished others.
I just figured if it once successfully incubated eggs, it can do so again.
For 15 dollars, you can go wrong.
It can't be any worse than the crappy $100 incubators out there.

I wonder if it can be fitted with an automatic egg turner and a fan.

I agree if it worked once and doesnt now it can again because things used to just be built better. I dont want to spend 100$ on anything lol
