Old school tried and true solutions to most threats to your flock. Cheap and easy!

As always my words and experience start a ruckus.
#1 I posted in good faith re; predatory birds and the local laws regarding their demise.
#2 Due to negative feedback I retract any inference that it's legal to shoot them.
#3 For those who read my entire post, it clearly states I have long since ceased this practice.
#4 Ask someone smarter than me as I gave up trying to stop them a long time ago !
#5 Please stop with the negativity and threats of legal intervention, I never make any
decisions from a stand point of fear or weakness. I apologized and it's up to you to
absolve me or not! Besides they are into swamp bunnies these days as we are overrun
by them and we are 5 years into a drought which is ideal for them to multiply. RR

Yeah I did that search and operation high roller involved a group killing an estimated 1000 to 2000 raptors annually, which is about what I would expect it would take for federal authorities to get involved in something like this. I don't think too many U.S. Attorneys would want the publicity of prosecuting an otherwise law abiding citizen for protecting his pets from an attack. Would make great media if a drug cartel skated on a charge while the U.S. Attorney had one of his assistants busy prosecuting some everyman who was trying to protect his pet birds from another bird.
