I love it. We did something similar with a tree house. We built ours right underneath making the frame around the support beams of the tree house. I'm sure our chickens will love no snow on the ground right outside their coop!

Again, a very innovative idea. Recycling at its best!

I was hoping we'd be done by now but it will take longer. I will be building solo for the rest of the week since hubs going on trip. I'll have to get him to cut all the pieces for me. Im not as good with the circular saw. But the GRK R4 torx screws are great! Makes the job go faster. I also ask the Big box store to cut pieces when they can. ... Hope to finish by week end. My chickies are waiting.
