I don't know exactly how it is constructed up at the roof line but one way to improve ventilation greatly is to cut out under the overhang.

Or just remove the circled blocking between rafters and add a fascia to ends of rafters.

That's some snazzy siding!!....asphalt or cement/fiberglass board?

What's the inside look like..framing good??
