I've searched this site as well as the web and the only thing I have seen about what the red blotches are on my hens feet is frost bite, however it has been 70-90*. So I'm not thinking that is the issue. She hasn't laid an egg in over a month and I thought it might just be her age but I've noticed the red spots as well as her combs not looking as viberant as they have been in the past. Could it just be signs of old age? Not sure how old she is. We have had her for a little over two years and recieved her from a friend who could no longer have chickens and they said they had her for about three years. I've read that chickens will lay up to the end of their life (living 10-12 years) so I'm at a loss. Is this an illness that is causing this issue? Any advice is helpful.
Thanks

Looked into what fowl pox are and they present as a mold looking leasion on the comb, face, beak and some times on their duct. They are never red blotches. I seen some posts on this site and noticed that some stated it could be frost bite due to where it is located. Her symptoms present in her feet and mainly in between her toes as well as her decrease in egg production. Thank you so much for a direction to look, please if you or anyone has ideas i'd love to hear them. At least it gives me direction to search for answers. I'll post pictures as I get them.
