Older hens hogging the roost

I have two older hens and 15 new hens born this spring. I have two roosts that are each 10 ft. The older hens will not let the younger ones on their roost. So, the younger ones are crammed on one roost. The young ones are getting bigger and this isn't going to work much longer. Is there a way to get the olders to share?

I'd start putting the pullets on the roost at night when it's already dark so the hens will wake up with them on the same roost.

Can you add another roost? Twenty ft. and seventeen hens is pretty tight, IMO. Mary
