Hi! This is QuileutePJerrie, returning, after a long and unplanned absence! Good to see you all here, and many new members, I am sure: I have had many experiences, from losing chickens and turkeys to High Prairie predators, to chicken coops destroyed in storms, to getting Anatolian Shepherd's for guardians and friends, to huge losses due to weasel attack, to building a brand new COOP! My dogs took care of the weasel, and I am just now recouping on re-cooping my Coop..I have no recent images of my new Coop, so cannot share. So, I have 8 chickens which survived the attack, out of 53. I was just given 12 roosters, of four or five breeds, and am picking up 25 hen poults (spelling), of same four or 5 breeds, today! So happy to be back, and look forward to your myriad threads and posts!!!

Thank you! I can hardly wait. I love having chickens, and so look forward to learning and to sharing. I need to learn how to negotiate the threads, etc, bit, I will get the hang of it. Thanks, again!
