Olive Egger - 7 weeks, hen or roo?

This is our olive egger! She’s our gentlest chicken so far. She’s my son’s chicken, and her hair is our favorite. Is she looking like a hen or a roo?

I’d say cockerel from looking at the size of the wattles.

Looks like a pullet to me. Cockerels with a single comb will usually (though not always) have a much bigger and redder comb than that at 7 weeks.

The big wattles are throwing me off. Here’s my straight comb marans pullet at 8 weeks.

And a pea combed cockerel at 8 wks.

Thank you! Her comb is small and grey-ish in color, but her wattles being bigger and more red really threw me off.

The wattles were throwing me off, too! Her comb is small and grey-ish in color, but the wattles are bigger and reddish.
