Olive Egger Eggs blue and olive?

The brown coating has thinned, so olive eggs are showing their blue shell color.
It's more about genetics than diet.
My OE's have very varied coatings.

In pic above, are her eggs the ones at 5:00 and 9:00?

Yes exactly!! And the first 2 from her were that deep olive. In addition to the 5, 9 positions, the 1:00 is also hers. I have not seen a deep olive since. On another BYC site, someone suggested she might be an Easter Egger. The hatchery we got them all from is pretty reputable and they did not have EE only OE.

Most of mine look like the speckled ones you have.
Mine are my own cross of BCM over CLB(who have a pretty weak blue).

OE and EE are basically the same...only difference is with OE the brown layer is supposed to be a bird with dark brown coating genes.
It's really hard to say why the brown coating here has diluted so quickly.
I don't know enough about genetics to suggest if a diet change might help.

I agree. one of our EE’s laid green eggs to almost white eggs. And the other one that lays brown eggs, her eggs range from medium to light brown.

I assumed OE just means an EE (Ameraucana mix) that lay olive-colored eggs. I have two EE’s: one lays brown, the other one, lays(id) green eggs.

Usually OEs are made by mixing a cream legbar with a cuckoo marans.
One of many mixes.
I made OE with Welsummer cock over EE hens, got some nice olives and a lot of browns.
Now I use Black Copper Marans cock over Cream Legbar hens for sexlinked chicks and guaranteed olive eggs.
