The brown coating has thinned, so olive eggs are showing their blue shell color.
It's more about genetics than diet.
My OE's have very varied coatings.
In pic above, are her eggs the ones at 5:00 and 9:00?
Yes exactly!! And the first 2 from her were that deep olive. In addition to the 5, 9 positions, the 1:00 is also hers. I have not seen a deep olive since. On another BYC site, someone suggested she might be an Easter Egger. The hatchery we got them all from is pretty reputable and they did not have EE only OE.
