Homer - that's his name - has become extremely aggressive toward ONLY me - not my husband or any of our other animals. But since I am the one that tends the chickens, and the only way I can even get near the coup is with a large rake in my hand, he has to be relocated. He is just now getting his spurs and he is very, very good at protecting the hens. I was trying to give him a chance by practicing some methods that I read about (flapping your arms and chasing him back when he chases me, but that is making him worse) and it's not working. I can't even enjoy my hens anymore with him there. So, he is free to anybody that wants to come and get him. I live in Okeechobee, FL. Please email me if you are interested - [email protected]

Thank you! 20180618_185936.jpg

It's a shame he has a lousy attitude because he will grow into a very nice looking rooster. Have you considered eating him ?
