Olive egger with brownish-purple eggs?

As with Easter Eggers, there is no standard for Olive Eggers.

Any bird that is the result, either directly or down the line, of a dark-egg breed with a blue-egg breed is an Olive Egger. :)

Thank you for the chart! That is super helpful. Now, would she carry the gene for colored eggs if bred to a brown egg cockerel also or will offspring in that case only have the ability to produce brown eggs as well?

Sorry! Lol I am just really into genetics. But I guess it's hard since I don't know her parents exact make up-yet anyway!

If her eggs aren't showing any kind of blue or green color (you can look at the inside of the eggshell since the brown coating is only on the outside), then she doesn't have a blue egg gene.
