Olive Egger..?

Hi! I recently bought a batch of chicks from a feed store, and was told that this little girl was an olive egger, but she looks suspiciously like a barred rock I think. Could it just be that she has barred rock in her genes, or did the store give me a barred rock chick on accident?

Hard to say. She could be barred or cuckoo and still be an olive egger. Hope for the best!

You might have to wait and see what color her eggs are. I've had a couple of olive eggers who really looked like cuckoo marans hens.

She looks similar to one of my supposed Sapphire Olive Eggers. Mine is now developing a barred white stripes on her wings. Could be a cross with a Cuckoo Maran! She's adorable though!

I've been reading as many Olive Egger posts as I can because I have a pullet that looks either barred olive or sapphire... Yours is super cute! But what I really want to you ask you - Is that a Leonberger in the background ?!!!
