Hello there, Alfie here
Question: when breeding to make olive eggers 1’s, 2’s and so on does it matter witch parent lays blue or brown?
For example: I’m going put my Blue/green Silverudd roster on some Copper moran hens. Would this work?

No it doesnt matter which breed the parent is. If you want to continue to keep the darkness though its best to breed the offspring back to the dark laying parent which will make them back crosses (BC or BC1). breeding the offspring together will make them F2 and will result in lighter but more variety of coloured eggs
