My hen, Olive, has a swollen crop. We have already taken her to the vet, and he said to give her 2 full syringes of safflower oil everyday. This is supposed to clear everything out of her crop that is stuck in there. Apparently, there is to much grit in her crop? I'm not sure. She is about 1 year old, and her crop is swollen to about the size of a small tennis ball. She has been like this for about 4 months now. The oil does not seem to be doing anything, and we really need some insight in to what we can do to help her! We would prefer not to have her operated on to clear out the crop, its invasive and pricey. She is still eating and drinking fine. Her poo was looking bad, but its gotten better since we started giving her the oil. Any help is welcomed! Thank you
