Here is the Custard recipe...Sorry I did not get it posted sooner. I have been very busy since we have returned home. I have so much to catch up on...And to top it off my daughter has come down with the flu which is VERY bad for my husband who just had a stem cell transplant...

Custard
1 Gallon of Milk
1 cup Corn Starch
3 ¾ cups of Sugar
15 Egg Yolks
Vanilla
Dash of Salt
Combine Sugar, Corn Starch and Salt. Blend. Combine milk and egg yolks, gradually stir into sugar mixture. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens and boils. Cook 1 minute stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add Vanilla. (2 big spoons full or according to taste) Put pot into a sink of cold water to cool and put wax paper over custard until it cools. After it cools put back into milk carton and refrigerate.
