Omelet & Eggy to the rescue!!

We have a cockroach problem, in our yard and every time we water the dirt hoping grass will grow you see tons of roaches coming out! Gladly my chickens save me every time! I noticed at night the roaches come out from there holes and wonder through the dirt so I thought I should let 2 chicks out and help them get some protein! My 2 month old easter eggers Omelet & Eggy (corny names haha I know) helped me, I had a flash light and they followed the light every time they would see a roach they would go crazy chasing it!! I can honestly say so far they probably ate around 50 or so roaches! We're going for round 2 tomorrow!! This time ill take pictures of the hunt!

I just turn on the porch light to watch chicken T.V. and it is off to the races with roaches and most any bugs but it sounds like you have a little more entertainment lined up for us so I will stay tuned ....
