As a hydrogeologist, I agree 100%. However, desalization is still too expensive (energy wise) and there are still issue to work out everything. However, OC has been treating storm/sewer water with GREAT success and reinjecting it into the ground where it can be pumped back out after 6 months residence time. That type of system needs to implemented EVERYWHERE in SoCal! Even Japan as come over to look at it...why can't the other local counties.

Damming is fine and dandy, but we don't get enough rain to store it for it to be a viable solution. Most of our water is from the Colorado River and NorCal already. This water issue and the fighting between agencies is ridiculous! MORE water treatment sites (unless we can miraculously get more rain

I think she;s already burning my brain with her mind melter.

Probably. She is smart but she is blast too. And her husband is fickle. Can't make up his mind about them darned chickens. So instead of waiting I am going to get a pair of Ameraucana's tomorrow. Real ones, not EE's.
