Why was there an objection to them being brooded in the house? Is there something you can do or somewhere you can put them so they have a safe warm place?
At one month, I still have the heat light on them.
Don't feel bad, when I was younger I put 2 BR chickies outside to soon, went out to feed and clean the coop and found one dead! I put it in a garbage bag and later on that afternoon the garbage bag started chirping! She lived a long time!
