OMG - I added water - then I got two pips..............

OK, lockdown on Saturday this morning I had nothing, nada, zippo, I lifted ever so slightly to add water. Five minutes later, my DH is telling me two are pipping. DId I screw up? I hope everything is IK, I have 40 eggs in there...........................

Should be fine... Just up the humidity as needed... If you have to just open the lid enough to slide a wet washcloth in if you need for humidity... I've done that in the past when they pipped early and had 100% hatch rate... Good Luck...

You should be fine...

My first hatch I was opening and closing the thing to move chicks and I had only 2 that didnt hatch (They had stopped developing..)
Just dont lift it off any more

it will be fine I think it is more important not to open once they have actually pipped. Once I forgot to move mine from the bator to the hatcher, I remembered on day 21 and a couple of hours after moving the eggs they started hatching and all but one were fine and needed no intervention.
