Congrats!!! That's such a perfect, pretty egg!!

We are anxiously awaiting our first, too! I dutifully check the nesting boxes and coop floor everyday, but no luck yet. My two oldest girls are 20 weeks now, so it should be anyday!

I never thought I'd get so excited about a silly little egg, but I sure did and I even ate it for breakfast, best egg ever, so tiny and cute I hated to do it but it was yummy!!!!
I can't wait until they are all laying, then I'll really be ecstatic. As it is I came running in the house woke up the kids and had them look at my egg................LOL they thought I lost my mind.......hehehe

I got my first itty-bitty egg today too! I suspect it was my black cochin frizzle, but I don't know for sure. She's 18 weeks. I haven't eaten mine yet, I had to wait for my hubby to get home to see it too. Yay for first eggs!!!

The other day, I heard my tiny game bantam hen cackling, I followed the sound until I found her in a nest on the ground with 8 tiny eggs in it!

I was like, why are you laying these here and not in the coop?

I can't wait for the others to start laying.
