So, most of you know I've been getting setup for a dozen eggs, due to arrive today or tomorrow... well, the happy day is here!!!

and they are neatly packaged and looking very lovely, and there are 14 instead of 12

and so we start to unpack them and I see that underneath is ANOTHER layer of eggs...

and we unpack THEM, and there are 13 more, for a grand total of 27 EGGS!!!

Thanks for the congrats and so forth! But OMG what am I going to do??!!!??!!! I figured a dozen would be a laid back hatch, now I feel the pressure is on?

Do I hatch them all at once? do I split them up? do I try two different methods? do i leave them on their sides or put them in cartons to rest? so so many questions, now multiplied by 2!

She always sends lots of extra. Her stock is great. Yes, hatch all right away!!!

You can do it! I bought silkies from her....she is the best!

LOL Bama always packed alot of eggs and I get good hatches as well. You expect maybe a good hatching about fifty percent would hatch.

She does pack her eggs well!

I don't have any sterile or new egg cartons!!!

I DO have some OLD egg cartons that I was saving, they've been empty for at least a month now.. how do I sterilize them???

HELP

I just figured with a dozen i would let them rest on their sides, but I don't have any safe place for that many eggs just rolling around
