Okay here is what I did, I found someone with an incubator and then I ordered over 40 eggs! They are in my bator now! I am in the process of making an incubator out of my styrofom box I got from Omaha Steaks. I am going to use it as a hatcher at first until I find out that it will hold temp for more than a couple of days! How exciting for you! I am so excited about my eggs that everyone I work with is soo sick of hearing about chickens!

I made my incubator for a total of $33 (and almost half of that was for the thermometer/hydrogemeter with a probe). I couldn't find one with a fan anywhere close to that. That being said... If I could have convinced DH to splurge on an incubator, I would have gladly spent more for one with a turner! Especially one that comes from a company that would give me piece of mind that they know what they are doing.
