OMG my chickens ATE Mice, HELP!!!!

what happens when chickens get a taste of human blood??  I was just carving a pumpkin and I sliced the very tip of my left index finger, and I bleed all over the pumpkin guts.  

You better throw them their feed and run into the house, they will be after you now. Bahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really though shouldn't be a problem.

I love it when they eat the rampant mice! It is cheaper than buying traps. And good protein!

As we say here, chickens will eat anything that doesn't fight back, run away and will go down their throat..........

I've watched my chickens hunt... Seriously... like a pack of velociraptors. My bf commented at one point that they were "flocking this way" in a mocking tone, and then about a minute later one emerged from the woods with a writhing mouse in it's mouth. And then of course the other girls came to fight her for it.

I've seen them run by with toads as well.

I knew they'd eat whatever you give them, but until this summer I've never seen them actually hunt.
