OMG my eggs arrived!!! More questions!

My eggs here have started late on day 16 and hatched on day 17. They will hatch from 16-18 days. I put mine into lockdown at day 15 or 14.

Basically Stop Turning And Go Into Lockdown Mode The End Of Day 14. If Your Temps Stay A Tad Warm They May Hatch A Little Early... Opposite Is True If You're A Tad Cool...

Here is from my experience:

Temp at 101 is OK. Some hatched early, most on time.

I unfortunately lack a Hydrometer, but I did OK without. My next hatch will have a hyrdometer in the 'Bator.

Big end up in the egg turner, and let it run until the 18th day, then you either pull the turner and let the eggs rest on the bottom of the 'Bator or leave the turner in. I've done it both ways. Far better and easier cleanup to pull the turner and set the eggs on the bottom.

As for humidity at lockdown with no hydrometer, I filled both reservoirs on the first hatch and did fine (no shrink wrapping of chicks). The second hatch needed both filled and a wet rag to keep the humidity High enough not too shrink wrap...(hatches were a couple week apart, and major weather changes between)

I'm sure you'll have a million different responses, in which you will have too what works for you!

Well, yes!
99.5-101 is fine, but generally gets deleted from the threads. Not sure why that happens??

Probably someone just looking out for me. This is way to strange for me.
