Well Mables leg was only sprained and she was feeling alot better the next day.

Annies wound was cleaned, I tried to cover it with no luck.

SHe formed a scab and it is HEALING!!!! No infection, no illness...NO antibiotics given!!!!!

I should say that I am not a big fan of antibiotics at all- only for extreme circumstances. Even with Annies wound I decided to wait to see how she was doing before jumping right on the antibiotic wagon.....And it worked.

Yes!! what a good chicky mama you are!!! glad your babies healed up!!! Just don't mix them with other chickens until there is no trace of a cut ever having been there. they peck each other to bits even if they just have a scab.
