OMG OMG OMG!!!!! another one!!!!

:D hey, I had a 'pullet' that was sold to me that if I had a lick of a brain, I would have realized was a roo at 13 weeks of age. until he crowed I still didnt realize it. Talk about me being a MORON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Well, Johnny Jr. is out with everyone today and I am at work all day. I am biting my nails already. Hope they will be ok. Everyone still seems ok with her, but I am SO not sure about 'Bird and her. cross my fingers!

She's outside today! Loving the sun an 40 degrees! So far so good. Bird has tagged her a few times and all seems pretty good

So glad to hear she is mixing in well! She has the best mommy and home a hen could ever have. :)

Congrats on your new addition!! She looks pretty and healthy. :)
I wouldnt worry about the quarantine time too much. She hasnt been in close contact with other chickens for a while and she seems bright and healthy. :thumbsup

Just saw this thread, What a NIFTY Christmas present this was Fishnet! She is so cute!
Goodness gracious how could anyone be afraid of her and want to shoot her????
She is very lucky to have you for her new MAMA! :cd :love :thumbsup

I think i am seeing a little bit of labored breathing from her. chest sounds clear, I used a stethescope on her back and underside and can't hear anything, but she inhales with a little bit of open beak. No discharge from nose or eyes at all. Think I may hit her up with a shot of Tylan today anyway.

Aspergillosis can present this way. Gasping that is silent, and paralysis can occur. If she was around moldy feed or litter she may be suffering from it a bit. Nothing you can do as you are giving her a good environment if that is what it is. I lost a few chickens to this, and so if you see a droopy wing and inability to walk (paralysis can occur but it may not so all you may see is gasping) it could be that.
