We took them out as after the picture . I took out the first 2 rows i have more due on May 1. I was going to get another bator just for hatchery but they were sold out everywhere. Hubby started a new homemade bator but got called out of town. The new one should be ready tomorrow but will need a few days to make sure temp and humidity stay stable. These 7 were the ones i put in when i had the flu and was on cold meds. I could not remember if they were due sat or sun LOL will never forget date again. The new bator has a manual turner easy you just push the leaver on top, it will house 200 eggs. We will be swimming in chicks
I am so glad i found this site i have met so many sweet people and the information is the best.
Whoever said this takes forever was not kidding LOL. So at 3 am i looked saw a biger hole but not realy a zip all the way around just bigger hole/? Woke up at 7 am i can see beak and when i whistle it talks bk to me he is blk from what i can see. No others have piped hope that he was just early and the others will pip soon. I keep crossing my fingers. This will be a long day
This part for me was the quickest. Once they've started to zip. Mine (first hatch) got extra zippy while the light was on in the bator. When it clicked off, they stopped until it came back on.
