OMG! Our first Egg

OMG!

I cannot believe it!!! It's HERE!!!! Our first egg laid by our 22 week old Rhode Island Red, Henrietta!

Compare to the store bought egg. I prefer hands down my tiny egg!

So beautiful... and large... wish my firsts were that big.

And that bucket... how ever does she lay in there? Is it screwed in somewhere to keep it from rolling??? Great idea for a nest box.

Congrats! Musty laid the other day for the first time at 23 weeks....on the outdoor window sill. silly girl.

So, I gave it a try and they laid their first egg there today!
