Well, no big surprise that it's snowing in CT. It's just the first real snow we've had in our neck of the woods this year. We're expecting about 8 inches today and then another storm on Saturday into Sunday. Hope we can get out and get our Christmas tree in between! We are all home from school for the day and I have Christmas cookies to bake so I'd better get to it. Hope everyone out there is warm and safe today!

Oh ick. I'd rather have the snow. We had the sleet etc. the last two Sundays into Monday morning. Don't know yet what we'll see this weekend. I think we'll know when we see it!

yeah I hate sleet. have to be ready for the icy roads now

Coming down like crazy here in NY. I live in the catskills and we are really supposed to get a lot of snow. Went to the local establishment last night and couldn't help but laugh at all my friends who are snowmobilers, talk about having a nervous twitch!

I love the Catskills. Both my parents families were from Upstate NY and when we used to visit them before the Thruway was built(yeah, I'm that old!) we got travel that area on the way. It's really pretty out here right now, but it's a lot easier to say that when I don't have anywhere I need to go.

Wakefield, Mass here and snowing like crazy they are saying 8 - 12 inches today. All the girls have gpn in already. They were out in it for a bit, but I think the excitement wore off.

My old barred rock never came out. She poked out her head and said, "BTDT!" and went right back in. The other little hen is under the deck. We'll probably have to catch her tonight and put her in. She is not a smart one, that bird!

Ugh, I was right. Sasha spent the day under the deck and we spent way too much time trying to catch her to get her back to the coop. No way was she going to walk through 9 or 10 inches of snow to get there. The space under the deck is not high enough to stand up straight so that was not fun. But she is safely tucked away inside with Rocky.
