These cuties followed me home. I swear...I was there and the next thing I knew, they were in that car with me. They could just sense that we have a great place with a natural pond for them. My husband doesn't believe me... but the funny thing is, he wants to go to TSC on Saturday. Just to look. He wants to see how they got out of the bin and followed me.

Any suggestions on how I can get my 2 week old ducklings and these little guys together? One of the older ones keeps biting the babies. I have them separated for safety, but wondering how I should go about introducing them to each other. I would really like them in one large brooder, instead of 2.

Thanks and enjoy the pictures!

I wish I could help you on your integration question, but sadly, I don't have the answer.
I can tell you this, though-THEY ARE SO CUTE!!!!

When you go to TSC on Saturday, tell your DH that you're going for some cheese and quackers.

I dang near did the same thing the other day! I told the kids that if they're still there in a few weeks I'll consider bringing 2 home.

In my opinion, I think you going to have to wait til they get closer in size. It would a shame if one of the younger ones got hurt, or couldn't eat, because the bigger ones pushed them away. Maybe in a few weeks the older ones will slow down growing and these will get closer to the same size.
They look like little angels by the way!
No one could let those stay in a store and not bring them home.

I would set up a wire "wall" in the middle of the brooder if possible (don't know the shape/size of your brooder). I've done this many times with chicks a few weeks apart in age. It lets them see each other but the smaller ones are protected. I'd give it a few weeks for the little ones to catch up in size and then you can have a trial period. Remove the wire wall and watch what happens. There will always be some bullying as the older ones strive for dominance but as long as the little ones aren't getting hurt and can get to food and water they should be fine. If there's too much bullying then replace the wall, wait a few more days and try again. Good luck. They are adorable.

When I went to Big R last week I swear the goslings were whispering to me...
"Hey nice lady. We want to live at your house!"

I decided I wanted to stay married more than I wanted geese though
