OMG this is wierd.

I do collect my eggs every day in fact twice a day. And i think what happened is when my husband went to move my broody hen to the garage he dropped the egg and when i went to collect them i saw it on the floor and i just thought another hen laid it there.

I have had that happen before. I felt even worse when it was a silkie egg.

But it was in like the 3rd day of developement.

But we make sure and watch so that we never do that agian.

Whenever I don't collect eggs daily I'll candle the eggs before cracking them open.
