OMG we are expecting tornados in Ny

Holy crap this is not good. New york is not really ready for any of this and now everyone around me is calling and saying it is going to be really bad. I also have to work tonight. Ugh and all my chickens and everything else is outside so I am a bit worried. I guess i am going to have a lot of chickens in my basement tonight if it gets that bad. I guess there was a funnel cloud or something sighted out near rochester area. Not sure if it is a 100 percent for sure.

I live in the Hudson Valley. I guess that the storms are supposed to be bad, because of all the heat and humidity and then the cold front.

ETA: Im worried for my animals outside. yesterday it was so hot that my gosling almost had a heat stroke, I had to bring him into the pool to cool off.

I just did some searching, and it seems us in the western ny area are ok. whew

The Tornado Watch is all the way to NE PA as well. I've lived here 23 years of my life and only saw one half hearted twister. Hopefully, there's nothing to worry about this time either.

I am not too worried.... I did some more looking and they have extended it my way. hmm.. makes for good news for the tv stations.

I wouldnt mind a couple thunderstorms, or even some small hail. But I would NOT like a tornado.
