OMG we are expecting tornados in Ny

Ya'll keep your eys open up there. If the sky looks kinda funny and the critters start acting odd.
We are kinda used to them here in Ok. But we don't like them either.
Hope your weather men are on the ball. We get hours of warning here usually.

I just went outside to take my dog to the bathroom, in like 30 seconds she was panting like crazy. It is soo hot and humid out there.

No storms here yet. But im sure they are comming.

well watertown and carthage have no power the wind took some roofs off in copenhagen i guess and this is just the begining. It thunder quite bad here for a few minutes and rained quite hard. A couple of my dogs will not even come inside and i had to run and grab my chicks to get them out of the rain as I just put them outside. Ugh I hope nothing happens. I at least have some water in the fridge in case something really does happen. Oh I also have eggs in my bator if the power goes out i have no idea what i am going to do and to top it all off i have to work in carthage tonight.

thanks I am hoping they will be alright. I guess if it goes out I can at least put some of them under my broodies but the bad part is that they eggs are only 8 days while the others are about ready to hatch. Oh well it will work itself out.

Thunderstorms rolled through Syracuse and surrounding areas between 11 and noon. Some power outages were reported but I haven't heard of any of the hail or tornados that were originally predicted. It poured for about 20 minutes and then the sun came back out...HOT and STEAMY again... I was really hoping that things would cool off.

Ugh, no fun! I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts. My in-laws who live in the Hudson Valley are out of the country but we'll have to keep our eye on things to see if we have to go check on their house.

Well not to much happened here but in carthage where I work I guess there was either a tornado or microburst. A lot of damage done and a lot of people without power. My aunt lives not to far from there and trees fell all over the place. She said it was horrible the noise that she heard was really scary. Someone actually died from having a tree fall on him and some of the people that I work with lost their cars due to trees falling on them. Still no power today for a lot of people that I work with also.
