OMG! What hatchery is this?

Come'on, you buyers who get hatchery chicks, did you REALLY think your chicks had a good trip? A good hatch? And think of the parents. . .

Your supplying hatchery has to sell thousands of chicks a year and yet somehow keep all their thousands of chickens in a small area. . . Now just imagine what life is like for the hen who laid the egg to get your chick is like.

I don't think the hatcheries portrayed in the two videos were the same kinds of hatcheries most backyarders are getting their chickens. These look like commercial hatcheries for large farms that raise chickens for meat or eggs for large grocery chains. Most of the hatcheries that I see people on this site order chickens from are probably not nearly as drastic in how they treat their chicks/ducklings.
